I’m an award-winning journalist and audio producer with nearly 15 years of experience working in public radio and podcasting. My work has been broadcast by the BBC, The New Yorker Radio Hour, NPR, and American Public Media, and recognized with an Edward Murrow Award, a James Beard Award, and a Peabody nomination. I have a Master’s Degree in Journalism and a Master’s Degree in Ethnomusicology & Folklore from Indiana University. I moonlight as a deejay, specializing in post-punk, electro, hip-hop, and disco records. And, most importantly, my mom thinks I’m tops!
